I’m almost a month into my new life in Dallas, where I’ve settled into my luxury apartment for rent at Dallas Gramercy on the Park.
When I accepted a new job that required me to relocate to Dallas, I signed a lease after careful, extensive research, packed up my ginormous collie, and made the long drive to Texas.
I’m a little shy, but between Jake the Wonder Collie and the extraordinarily friendly community at Gramercy on the Park, Dallas is beginning to feel like home. The outdoor lounge area, complete with a fireplace and TV, is perfect for watching the amazing beard game of the Dallas Maverick’s own Dirk Nowitzki in stunning high definition with my new neighbors, and I’m a sucker for the hammocks in the courtyard (perfect for this surprisingly warm winter). I can lay there for hours as I decompress from the demands of my new job, reading books on my Kindle.
And the NorthBark Dog Park is LITERALLY across the street from my luxury apartment at Gramercy on the Park, making it ideal for running around with my overly excitable four-legged bestie. (Also, did I mention the park has on-site dog showers? I guess Jake will feel extra fresh.)
Maybe next month I’ll actually make it to a Mavs game to behold the wonder of Dirk in person. And maybe I’ll also relinquish access to the amazing Starbucks machine just downstairs from my luxury apartment for rent at Gramercy on the Park, too.
It’s good to have goals, right?
