Valentine’s Day can often feel like a commercialized pile of consumerist detritus. It just is. Hallmark tells us we’re defective if we’re not coupled and swathed in massive bouquets of roses and chocolates on February 14, right?

I am here to tell you ladies, that I have plotted your Anti-Valentine’s Day Strategy here from the overstuffed couch of my luxury apartment for rent in Dallas at Gramercy on the Park.

Let’s break this down. First of all, you’re fabulous. You’ve got a wonderful luxury apartment with loads of amenities, a massive closet and 24/7 access to a nice cup of coffee on site. (Yes, Gramercy on the Park has a Starbucks coffee distributor in the business center.)

So how can you celebrate glorious, single you this month? Here are some ideas.

First on the agenda: cocktails. The best possible spot – within cheap Uber distance of your swanky luxury apartment in Dallas, at least – Malarkeys Tavern. Swipe on some lipstick and order yourself a classic cocktail, like the Sazerac or a Negroni.

Next? Buy yourself flowers, if you’re into that sort of thing. You’re awesome. Maybe pick yourself up some roses from
In Bloom Flowers just to celebrate your own awesomeness. It’s a quick drive from Gramercy on the Park, and that splash of color will look amazing on the coffee table at your luxury apartment in Dallas.

And finally – go do something entirely frivolous and fun.

Just make sure to celebrate yourself instead of demolishing an overpriced box of chocolates on the couch of your lux
