Ready for my New Year’s resolution at Gramercy

Oh the holidays. Dallas, Texas is like anywhere else, where it’s just so easy to get off track with mounds of holiday food and a hectic schedule that makes little time or room for exercise (even for those of us luck to live in luxury apartments for rent). Well, it’s officially New Year’s everyone, and for THIS resident of Gramercy On The Park, that means it’s time to get serious.

Put simply, I’m ready to get back into a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise at the fitness center at Gramercy.

I know lots of people like to go to the gym, and there are arguments in favor of that for sure.  Anytime Fitness seems like a popular choice for locals.  And I would never try to steer anyone from that (Anytime Fitness looks great). I’m just sharing what works for me.

Firstly, I love the convenience of an onsite fitness center.  Some of us are hardcore workout enthusiasts who will ALWAYS make time.  But a lot of us aren’t.  A lot of us work hard, have family obligations, and get involved in the community … and fitting in exercise gets silly difficult.  Given that stew of factors, adding any little measure of convenience can go a LONG way in holding me to my fitness goals, and honestly, I’m not sure I would make the time without an onsite fitness center.

Fortunately, it meets my needs as well.  I get the cardio I need, as well as the strength training, and the community is great … everyone chips in on cleanup and keeping things in good condition.  Nothing is worse than that sweaty guy who doesn’t wipe things down after… Well I have yet to encounter that guy here.

Luxury apartments for rent in Dallas, Texas are a dime a dozen.  But I don’t think I’m telling anyone anything new when I say that Gramercy On The Park is special.  The fitness center, which I will be hitting often in the coming days, weeks and months, is just one reason why.
